Stuart And Kloudiia’s Wedding – Part 2

Stuart and Kloudiia wedding

The whole wedding was divided into 3 parts.

In the morning, it was the church wedding.

Followed by an afternoon of fine-dining in a Country Club and then, another wedding party at night (which I will blog in part 3 soon and this was part 1 of their wedding.)

I think it was a wedding of a different kind, in the sense they do not have wedding dinner, which normally Chinese wedding couples have.

From how I see it, wedding dinner is meant more for the relatives and families as Chinese take it as a formal invitation for everyone that the family knows and has such a grand celebration to announce to everyone that their children are getting married.

But again, you may not want to know the hassle of organising one with all the problems ranging from interference of mother-in-law to not really friendly or helpful hotel staff.

For the wedding party, it is eh… I should tell you more in the next post.

Anyway, back to Stuart and Kloudiia’s wedding, below is a slideshow of their church wedding.

Wedding EBooks – A Day of Fun

wedding ebook cover
I was dabbling with an ebook cover generator and testing the limits of my artistic skills.

In fact, I love art but it was just that they stopped offering art as an examinable subject when I was in Secondary 3 (age 15).

So it was a long Sunday and I decided to make good use of my time.

So below were what I created in 2 hours throughout the hot afternoon of Singapore.

“P.S: These can be made into virtual wedding invitation card and be placed in your wedding site. Save money, doesn’t it? And save the trees. :-p

Dating has always been part of the entire courtship experience.

What happens when you see this handsome guy across the hall?

He saw you too and walked up to you. You don’t know why but your heart was pounding faster and faster.

Both of you chatted for a short while and he asked for a date.

Do you say “yes”?

Stuart And Kloudiia’s Wedding – Part 1

Stuart and Kloudiia wedding

I attended one of my mentor’s wedding yesterday. It was a Catholic wedding at the Church of St Mary of the Angels.

It was the second Catholic wedding I had attended and it was a beautiful experience, totally different from my cousin’s Buddhist wedding ceremony in May 07.

My friends and I arrived quite early, at about 8.30am. There were already many guests, most probably the relatives and immediate family members.

During such wedding, normally the members closer to the wedding couple would turn up especially early for such important occassion.

I remember on my wedding day, one of my aunties turned up at 6.30am at my house and we only leaving the house at 8.10am to fetch the bride.

Back to Stuart and Kloudiia’s wedding, the bride was in this fantastically gorgeous wedding gown from TedWu.

Wedding of Kloudiia and Stuart

My friends Stuart and Kloudiia are getting married this weekend.

I am so happy for them and they will soon be moving into another chapter of their lives.

They have created a wedding website which they posted their wedding venues and the time to reach. Plus, there are opt-in boxes for you to enter your name and email addresses if you are attending their weddings.

I think it is really convenient in the sense yoou can save the trees (no need wedding invitation card) and you can save your time (no need to go around delivering them).

Hmm, talking about the modern way of giving out invitations cards. You have the internet plus using sms from mobile phones. Wow! E-invitations!

In 14th December 2007, Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 3 hold a Paradise wedding photo contestand many soon-to-wed couples went snapping away with their photographers in the newly opened airport.

Stuart and Kloudiia were one of the pairs, having their photoshots in the airport.

I think the experience was a unique one in the sense the airport is newly opened and you don’t really get to have the chance of entering a photo contest prior to your own wedding.

And interestingly, they took this shot in the toilet. I think so…from what I interpreted from Kloudiia’s blog.
