I am feeling a mixture of feelings. Anxious, excited, uneasy, in high spirit, low, on cloud nine…confused?
It is really tough for me to juggle more than 3 major things in mind while planning and coordinating my wedding. I’m so glad that my course is coming to an end soon, but here come my reservist for 3 weeks.
I’m truly grateful to people around me and they have offered help and support. I’m thankful that most of the things have been done. Tomorrow, my mom will be bringing my fiancee to buy jewellery. In Chinese custom, the mother-in-law of the fiancee has to buy her a gift. My fiancee is a decent girl with good upbringing. She has offered to treat my mom and aunty lunch at a japanese restaurant.

Everyday, we learnt to give and take. Sometimes, she gives way to me. Sometimes, I give way to her. If none of us wants to, we sit together and come to a compromise.
Marital preparation course does teaches this, doesn’t it? We do actually practice it. Not a perfect score yet. I doubt we can get. But we will always try to improve ourselves and learn to properly communicate between us.
Lately i saw a couple age around 20 plus shouting at each other..screaming at the top of their lungs…walking off and turning around and shout at each other angrily…and this happened in a MRT station at 6pm when the human trafiic is the highest…and with their 4 year old boy standing next to mommy, looking confused…no idea who to follow…
i also heard from my friend who recently quarrelled with her boyfriend…and in the midst of the tension and anger…started tossing out things?they dislike what?the other party has done …and these things had happened two to three years ago…and start cursing and swearing and blaming?each other…sigh…what happened to the statement “I will love you forever” when they were in courtship period….
