Shoes!!! …. >.<

On 1st December, we went for final fitting. Our appointments was at 7pm and we reached at 7pm sharp. But the studio was over-packed with 4 pairs of wedding couples waiting to do their final fitting.

By the time when it was our turn, it was already 8.30pm and we wasted 1.5 hour of waiting time.

It was really chaotic in the studio and the studio was under-staffed. Only 2 staff taking care of 2 couples at any one time. Plus, some wedding couples brought along their siblings, nieces, nephews and parents….oh my…it was as if the studio was going to explode.

There were couples complaining of their long waiting and there were constant apologies from the manager. Sigh…couldn’t really believe what had happened….”over-schedule

So the moral of the story is “Never over-packed the appointments”!!!

While waiting, I was super-bored. So I took some photos of the shoes my fiancee will be wearing on our big day!

Registry of Marriage

I have finding it really challenging to blog about my wedding these few days, especially it is the last few days before the wedding.

We managed to settle most of what we needed to and the mindset to survive this week is to move along with the flow.

On Tuesday night, I met up with my good friends and we went for a movie – “Battle of Wits” by Andy Lau and we had a terrific dinner and we talked about good old times and how fast time flies. They bought me wedding presents and gave me Ang Pow – Red Packet despite not being able to attend my wedding. It was really of them.

Yesterday, on 6/12 (Wednesday), we went to Registry of Marriage (ROM) to collect our wedding certificates.

Standing by her Side….always

Yesterday was quite a day with mixture of feelings…on one hand, i can celebrate for having taken my last exam paper for this year and it marks the end of one year of endurance and tolerance…on the other hand, some unpleasant event surfaced.

let’s take a peek into my life for this year:
Since January, I have been busy preparing the wedding
In addition, I have to do my professional attachment which involves alot of life-churning experience.

I have 2 exam papers to take in June and one more yesterday.

Stress from work+stress from school+stress from inside+stress from wedding+stress from families = can make me into a superman

Along the way, there are many more hurdles to cross: culture conflict, parent-child conflict, customer-hotel disagreement, locating the right places to get the right stuff, compromising on Bethrodal items and many more…(you can’t really imagine the amount of stress both of us are bearing.)

Wedding PresentS for My Wife

I have already bought 3 wedding presents for my wife. I personally believe that wedding day is a very important occasion and we can’t miss out the exchange of presents.

In addition to the presents that I have bought, I’m intending to make some handicraft for my wife on her wedding day and so I will be rather busy these few days, not forgetting I have exam tomorrow. Oh gosh!!!

I have a rough plan in mind and it will be very consistent with what I have done for her since the courtship days.
