Stuart And Kloudiia’s Wedding – Part 1

Stuart and Kloudiia wedding

I attended one of my mentor’s wedding yesterday. It was a Catholic wedding at the Church of St Mary of the Angels.

It was the second Catholic wedding I had attended and it was a beautiful experience, totally different from my cousin’s Buddhist wedding ceremony in May 07.

My friends and I arrived quite early, at about 8.30am. There were already many guests, most probably the relatives and immediate family members.

During such wedding, normally the members closer to the wedding couple would turn up especially early for such important occassion.

I remember on my wedding day, one of my aunties turned up at 6.30am at my house and we only leaving the house at 8.10am to fetch the bride.

Back to Stuart and Kloudiia’s wedding, the bride was in this fantastically gorgeous wedding gown from TedWu.

Wedding of Kloudiia and Stuart

My friends Stuart and Kloudiia are getting married this weekend.

I am so happy for them and they will soon be moving into another chapter of their lives.

They have created a wedding website which they posted their wedding venues and the time to reach. Plus, there are opt-in boxes for you to enter your name and email addresses if you are attending their weddings.

I think it is really convenient in the sense yoou can save the trees (no need wedding invitation card) and you can save your time (no need to go around delivering them).

Hmm, talking about the modern way of giving out invitations cards. You have the internet plus using sms from mobile phones. Wow! E-invitations!

In 14th December 2007, Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 3 hold a Paradise wedding photo contestand many soon-to-wed couples went snapping away with their photographers in the newly opened airport.

Stuart and Kloudiia were one of the pairs, having their photoshots in the airport.

I think the experience was a unique one in the sense the airport is newly opened and you don’t really get to have the chance of entering a photo contest prior to your own wedding.

And interestingly, they took this shot in the toilet. I think so…from what I interpreted from Kloudiia’s blog.

Wow, imagine next time your wedding photographer asks you for a photo-taking venue and you replied him – the Continue Reading »

First Day of A Fresh New Year And A Message From My Mother-in-law

Last year was a fabulous year for me as it was a totally incredible journey for myself, my wife and getting used to her parents.

Yesterday was the last day of the year and we went back to my in-laws’ place for dinner.

Understanding that the situation between us and my mother-in-law, who is very hard to please, was very tense, I made an effort to buy a huge bouquet of flowers, 3 lillies and 3 pink tulips just for her.

I met up with my mentor in a town central and it was a brain-draining afternoon when he cramped me with so much internet-marketing stuff just before the year closed.

It was two hours of meeting and I made my way back to the market near my place to buy the bouquet from a regular florist whom I know and can trust.

It was another 1 hour bus journey to the west and we, with our heart beating, presented the flowers to my mother-in-law.

We thought that the flowers would kind of make her smile abit, if not welcome us with open arms when she sees us.

Oh dear! When we reached there Continue Reading »
