In Singapore with such a hot weather, I wonder why some women (and men) keep their hair long.

However, I know that as the wedding approaches, some ladies with short hairs see themselves as prettier with long hair.

For me, I feel that it doesn’t matter if you have long or short hair. What matter most is you must be absolutely comfortable in your wedding hairstyles, whichever you choose.

If you really want to grow your hair long, do remember to give ample time for your hair to grow.

Alternatively, you can use hair extensions.

If you have no experience of having long hair and want to give it a short, discuss with your professional hairstylist and explore all possibilities of hairstyles.

Keep an open mind.

You may want to do some research before going for your hairstyling.

Go to the internet and Google for example “long wedding hairstyles” and copy the pictures to Microsoft word document and print them out.

Alternatively, buy bridal magazines and check out those brides with long hair. Cut out those pictures you really love and show them to the hair-stylist.

My suggestion to this answer is you can ask around from your married friends if they have any recommendation of friends in this line. Or you can pay your Make-up artist from your bridal studio for freelance assignments. Perhaps, she may charge around S$50 for one make-up session.

For cheaper wedding gown, you can ask for off the rack from local bridal studios. There lots to choose from along Tanjong Pagar Road and you can check out their pricing. “Remember don’t be pressurised to sign their contract by their very persuasive sales team.

Then, alternatively, you can visit those bridal studios from neighbourhood areas. They may have cheaper gowns.

The last option is get second hand prom dresses and have them altered by a seamstress who you can trust. It may be much cheaper than getting them from a bridal studio. 🙂

The post on “Purple Wedding Gowns” has been quite popular and so I decided to do another post on other color wedding gowns.

I did a random search on “Champagne Color Wedding Gowns” and seemed like it is very hard to find.

All along I thought that champagne is quite a common color in the wedding, especially it goes well with champagne-colored roses.

I went to Yahoo to do a search and I have difficulty looking for images of such wedding gowns.

However from Google search, I manage to find more images.

Wedding gowns come in all variety.

There are the sexy wedding gowns which require the minimum amount of materials and there are those that are suitable for expecting brides.

I know of some brides in wedding forums whose babies are already more than 5 months old and they are getting married in a month or two.

Something really unfamiliar and uncomfortable to be accepted at first but it is going to be a growing trend when more and more couples have shot-gun marriages.

I do understand how tempting it is to have pre-marital sex especially for couples who are relatively young both in terms of age and maturity.

This always reminded me of the common tag lines that men use:

If don’t “do it”, it means you don’t love me.

Hey, love is not just based on a moment of ectatsy and if men really love their women, men will respect both the women’s bodies and souls.

Men will plan a conducive environment, providing the best for the wives and children.

This is very true at least in my own opinion.

There are many types of wedding gowns and there are certainly some we don’t get to see in a normal wedding.

If you happen to see one, you are in luck.

Being very conservative Asians, I don’t believe that any lady in the right state of mind will be wearing such wedding gown on her big day.

If so, I think her parents would have fainted.
