Wedding Snapshots 6: Moments before Wedding Dinner…Crystal Theme
The reception area was filled with laughters and joy. (while in the ballroom, a slideshow of our Bridal photoshoots was presented.)
We were the stars of the night…a once-a-lifetime experience..a moment that we will remember we are once a star…
guests were queuing up to catch a moment with the bride and to take a photo…
everybody was asking for the bride…”where is she?”
We were very excited and nervous…oh my….it was like preparing for a stage performance when thousands of onlookers looked at you…and you are the only one performing…our hands were cold and our facial muslces stiffened…but we whispered encouraging words into each other’s ears…”relax…you look great/ handsome/ very beautiful!”
adrenalin rushed through my body…happy adrenalin for happy occasion…
Unexpected things still cropped up last minute…
one of my relatives demanded a change in seating arrangement, only to give way at the end…after discussing for 10 minutes…what a waste of my time…everyone was looking for me for last minute adjustment
some of my friends lost their way to the hotel and others smsed us that they were unable to come
we were disheartened…but the wedding must go on and smiles were back on our faces when the doors opened for us to…march in…into the ballroom…
one thing I never forget..my friend who was my wedding coordinator helped me tie my shoelaces…thank you…
I panicked as not a single person present knew who to tie a tuxedo tie…finally one of my groomsmen’s wife helped me with it…thank you…
finally…we could hear the first march-in song…
the doors opened…we entered…we took steps forward into the ballroom…all eyes glued on us…”never in my life do I have so much attention…
