Wedding Snapshots 9: Table-to-table photography and sending guests off
After the wedding speech, we heaved a sigh of relief. It was the most difficult speech I had ever given and it was tough, even I really wanted to…to thank every single relative and friend who was attending my wedding. Not forgetting I had a Cantonese language crash course one night before my wedding and I took just 1 hour to practice my speech in Cantonese.
After the wedding speech, we proceeded back to our table to take a few bites before the photographers and my friends coordinating the table-to-table photo-taking came to ask me if we were ready.
Initally we wanted to bring wine for toasting but my friends advised me not to so that we won't be forced to drink…opppsss… so we went round without wine glasses. hehe… :p
There were a total of 18 tables and we moved around and paused at each table for photo-taking as well as casual chit-chatting plus thanking our guests for coming. It was really heart-warming to see all my relatives and friends who turned up for my wedding. Thank you all!!! >.<
We took half-an-hour to complete and we stole short moments of our time to take photos with individuals who wanted personal photos. By this time, it was already 10.30pm and the banquet coordinator told us to stand-by at the door to send off guests.
Wow, phew!!! Finally, we could have a good rest really soon!!!
And one last thing to go. According to Hong Kong wedding custom, there MUST be a group photograph taken. So we took it when all the guests had left.
