Thank you to my finacee’s good friend for allowing me to post their wedding photos.
A few reasons: the photos are one of the very few that I find captivating and mesmerising. A few key points: the bride is very sweet and attractive and the groom is really good-looking. >.<

It may come as a surprise to most brides that, originally, the wedding cake was not eaten by but thrown at the bride! It developed as one of the many fertility traditions surrounding a wedding. Luckily this custom evolved into actually eating the cake.
Today’s Traditions
Most people don’t associate the wedding cake with having lots of children anymore, instead the wedding cake has become kind of a first meal for the bride and groom. Today’s couples cut a slice before anyone else and feed it to each other, symbolizing the support they’ll provide through their many years together. In addition, the confections themselves have become a showpiece instead of a symbol - you can get a wedding cake with a fountain in it, pieces of infrastructure (bridges and such), or cakes that you could honestly mistake for a present or a hat or other inanimate objects.
There is a blog that I frequent to check on the development of her wedding. This beautiful couple had just gotten married on in October 06 and she has kindly allowed me to post some of her photos on my wedding blog.
Their wedding is held in Muar.
Last week, we went to take a look at Chinese “kua” and bought a few hundred dollars worth of wedding customary items. And so…
I got this email from one of my many aunties:
”Hi Ren,
The wedding insert will be ready by this week end. Let me know whether u need any help or service as your wedding date is drawing very near. ie uncle’s car on the wedding morning to fetch your wife’s friends over to your house etc…… I’m sure your hand is tight…. work, exam and others……. I am very willingly to run errand for you any time (FOC). You both have to take a lot of rest before your wedding day to look good. Feel free to call me .
