If you take a step back and put yourself in her shoes you should be able to see where she is coming from. Coming from a single parent family makes it even more impt for you to balance your life after marriage for you are all staying under 1 roof. Other than spending time with ur wife, make time for your mum. It has not been easy for her for the past 12 yrs bringing yu up alone. U need to compromise n take that step to understand her. I was much more rebellious than u while growing up n still have my occassional bickering n unhappiness with my folks... but at the end of the day ur parents r the only one who give u unconditional love although they may not express it the way we wish they would.
